About Sobits - Independent iPhone and iPod touch Application Developer

Sobits is an emerging gaming studio created in November 2008 by cousins Sean Orelli and Stephen Orelli. Based out of Huntington NY, Sobits is currently focused on developing games and applications for mobile devices. Sobits took first place at Stony Brook University's DARE entrepreneur competition and was awarded $25,000 which Sean and Stephen will use to expand the business. Both partners have contributed to creating the Sobits titles currently available for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch.

Sean Orelli is responsible for engineering and researching new products. Sean received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science from StonyBrook University. He has worked professionally as a graphic designer in the cosmetics industry for Garret Clifford Design, focusing on packaging and graphics for corporate clients including Elizabeth Arden, Liz Claiborne, and Juicy Couture. Sean also teaches video game design to kids aged 9-17 at Hofstra University and Wagner College.

Stephen Orelli is responsible for sales and marketing, as well as covering the business needs of the firm. Stephen received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from The University of Delaware, majoring in Marketing with a minor in International Business. Upon graduating Stephen began working for Hit Entertainment, developing subsidiary Hit Toy Company which manufactured and distributed Thomas and Friends consumer products to mass retail. Stephen is currently pursuing an M.B.A. concentrating in Marketing at Hofstra University's Frank Zarb School of Business.
